I've had many an admirer of my cloissone enameled belt buckles, retailing at approximately $1200.00...
but nary a buyer for one! Cloissone is a painstaking enameling process of incorporating silver wire 'cloisonnes' into melted glass. Each belt buckle took me about a week to make. That is not including the hand fabricated SS buckle back that I made for each one. Well worth the $$ if you ask me! People love these buckles. They are to be worn by superstars... If only those superstars with cash or credit cards were easier to come by!
So, as promised, I have created an affordable knock-off that even a high school freshman could buy with their weekly allowance.
